I drove twenty two miles this afternoon to Kendal leaving a wet miserable day behind me and arrived to find Narnia.

This road (A591) is usually two lanes of traffic doing 60mph+ but not this evening. I managed to do 30mph maximum in the middle of the road all the way, with snow belting down and with no sign of any tarmac for over six miles. Thank god there was two lanes open on the M6 when i got there.
